Our Contracts Officers are part of the Adult Social Care Commissioning and Contracts team, and have a key role in ensuring that adult care services provided to eligible people in Brighton and Hove are contract managed effectively to ensure that people receive high quality services that aim to be person centred, outcome focused, inclusive, value for money, and promote a sustainable and diverse local market.

**About the role**:
The Adult Social Care Commissioning and Contracts team is looking for a new Contracts Officer to work in a high performing team. The post is ciritical in ensuring that good quality services are provided for vulnerable adults in receipt of social care in Brighton and Hove. You will work closely with Commissioners and colleagues in Finance, Brokerage, Quality Monitoring, Legal and Procurement, to ensure contracts and effective contract monitoring are in place.

The Contract Officers manage the development, production and maintenance of all contract documentation and related guidance relating to all contracts relating to Adult Social Care services, working closely with the Legal team.

The role is responsbile for managing an approved and preferred provider process for Adult Social Care services that will promote good quality service provision both in and out of the City as well as maintaining an accurate Contracts Register that supports the governance of the contracting process

The Contract Officers work with Commissioners and Corporate Procurement to support the procurement of personalised and value for money services and then manage the timely review of contracts to promote positive outcomes and performance.
