Qualifications:

- Demonstrates a sound understanding of excellent internal service vs planning effectiveness
- Comprehensive understanding of planning data to maximise storage potential
- Solid understanding of core & VAS planning data to determine labour requirements
- Ability to foresee, gather and maintain daily planning data
- Team player
- Works to own initiative
- Accuracy focussed

**Responsibilities**:

- Generating and optimising the daily warehouse plan, ensuring labour usage is mirrored and agreed in line with core volumes and value added activity.
- Comparing the ‘actual vs plan’ and challenge any over spending that has not been agreed. I.e. overtime and agency.
- Continuously reviewing and investigating forecasted volumes, actively working to reduce the amount of non-planned core volumes, value added activity and internal movements.
- Planning and rotating labour across site in line with operatives skill sets and trained ability.
- Providing relevant and accurate information, instruction and plans to the Planning Manager as requested. Ensuring service, efficiency and cost is maintained and improved.
- Reviewing and monitoring skill gaps in the workforce, identifying training requirements and potential risk areas.
- Working closely and drive the relationship between Warehouse Operations and Customer Services. Working with the category leaders to improve information, communication and control between departments.
- Actively challenging cost, processes and the ‘norm’, driving better use of resource, efficiencies and control.
- Maintaining the integrity of business systems information/ data in order to provide accurate and appropriate business reporting and aid informed decision-making. Delivering against and exceed in stretching and challenging departmental targets and KPIs.
- Ensuring a full and accurate understanding of customer requirements, working to meet and exceed these, whilst ensuring compliance isn’t compromised.
- Supporting and maintaining customer expectations reducing the scope for customer non-conformance complaints.
