Our Administration Officers (AO) play a critical role, providing excellent telephony and administrative support to court users, judiciary, mediators and management.

**About us**

HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is responsible for the administration of criminal, civil and family Courts and Tribunals in England and Wales. Our roles support our Court users and colleagues within HMCTS, where people and businesses access potentially life-changing justice. **Your role**

Our administrative teams are the core of our National Business Centres (NBCs), delivering great customer service to enable Justice. Our teams work across a variety of jurisdictions and get the chance to shape and continuously improve the way we operate. Typical roles include data entry of paper and digital work, telephony, customer complaints and correspondence. We empower our staff to be the voice of our customers, giving them opportunity to make changes that matter to our users.

**Your skills and experience**
- Friendly and approachable manner with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask, whilst working in a fast-paced environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- IT proficient with the ability to learn and adapt to different technologies and software packages.

**Further details**:
These operational roles are customer facing, requiring successful applicants to be office based to provide HMCTS services to the public. Non-contractual hybrid working may be available within our telephony teams. Hybrid working arrangements will be determined by the business and will only be available when it has been established that delivering the service from home can be done effectively._ _We cannot facilitate requests for a particular work from home/working in the office schedule.

**Occasional travel to other courts**

For this post, occasional travel to other National Services sites may be required.
