This is an exciting opportunity to join ESTH as a People Business Partner at a time where there is a real focus on the people agenda.
Working closely with corporate and divisional management teams as well as clinical leaders you will provide strategic workforce advice and guidance, contributing to high standards of divisional performance and effective workforce deployment.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to deliver strategic workforce support. The People Business Partner will be confident working at a senior level with a range of medical, clinical and management colleagues, and will be expected to build excellent working relationships across the divisions working on all hospital sites as well as at our corporate offices in central Epsom.
To provide HR leadership and support to the Divisional Senior Management team to advise on the people and workforce implications of delivering the Division’s objectives and to implement changes to people management practices.
Offer advice and guidance on implementing best practice in people management and provide information and analysis to guide people management interventions and improve people management performance.
Provide specialist HR knowledge and expertise to support the Directorate in complex multi-faceted situations with an options appraisal and risk assessment of possible courses of actions.
Act an integral member of the senior management teams, acting as a catalyst for change and modernisation in support of the directorates and Trust business plans and strategies.
To interpret case law and advise on implications for the Directorate.
Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust provides a range of medical services to approximately 490,000 people living across southwest London and northeast Surrey. In addition, we provide more specialist services, in particular renal and neonatal intensive care, to a wider area, covering parts of Sussex and Hampshire.
We serve an area that is rich in diversity, with a mix of urban and rural areas, and differing levels of quality of life. We cover some of the most prosperous postcodes in the country, as well as some poorer areas. Together with our colleagues at NHS Surrey and NHS Sutton and Merton, we work to make sure that we deliver the best possible care to the communities we serve.
The Trust employs approximately 5,000 staff across its hospitals and is supported by over 500 volunteers.
