**Role: Business Development Manager - I&C**
**Location: Homebased**
**Salary: Competitive DOE + 20% commission on sales**
**Summary**:
**Key responsibilities**:
- Generate and manage of a substantiated self-discovered opportunity pipeline
- Ensure that monthly targets are not only met but exceeded
- Ensure that all proposals are prepared and submitted within agreed timeframes
- Ensuring that all proposals are followed through to conversion
- Provide detailed win and loss analysis on all projects
- Lead opportunity development, tendering activities, and customer negotiation process
- Create and maintain lasting relationships with key individuals
- Understand customer drivers and ensure that they are incorporated into proposed solutions
- Provide sales reports and feedback to strengthen the wider group offering
?Make recommendations and demonstrate knowledge and capability to stakeholders
**Skills and experience required**:
- Experience in similar industry environments within the utilities industry
- 3+ years experience in Business Development or Sales positions
- Experience within a Project Management-focused environment
- Demonstrable knowledge of Sales and Marketing techniques
- Sales and Tender management
- Experience of delivering site works in DNO, IDNO, Commercial & Industrial environments
- Using clear, concise, and inspiring communication to internal & external stakeholders.
