**Overview**:
The People Operations team - Employee Relations, is key to supporting the business in all employee relations issues, major projects and initiatives, delivering first class advisory services and driving change. The Operations team provide employee relations support in all these areas ensuring compliance with our own professional standards and the external legal framework, whilst enabling the business to manage risk. Their understanding of employment law changes, and experience of day to day operations management drive our policies and procedures, which are adapted/improved as necessary. The relationship with our clients is effective and efficient, delivering to the highest level of customer satisfaction.
**Role Summary**:
The People Operations Advisor supports the business with first line HR queries. The People Operations Advisor will provide a consistently great customer experience making sure advice is delivered optimally, meeting all policy and compliance requirements bringing ED&I into all aspects of the role. Working inclusively with key stakeholders and building collaborative partnerships.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Management of ER cases and projects as appropriate
- Provide advice and support to managers and coach, influence, challenge as necessary
- Signpost employees to other HR service lines where appropriate. Supporting HR Centre services teams with HR Services policies and processes
- Use initiative to effectively and efficiently manage individual workload within the case management system
- Build excellent working relationships with HR teams, employees and key stakeholders in both the UK and Europe, building a strong relationship with the HR Centre team in Bangalore
- Provide a professional advisory and administrative service to business colleagues across a broad range of HR queries and processes with focus on Employee Experience
- Supporting with complex case management, producing correspondence, handling customer queries, monitoring reports and documentation
- Ensure current statutory and legislative requirements are being complied with
- Use the case management and HR system to record and maintain accurate records about activities and tasks undertaken, update HRMS as required
- Leading and delivering a variety of improvement and service projects
- Identify and raise continuous improvement opportunities
- Project delivery as part of a specialist team
- Manage workload in a timely manner ensuring effective delivery in line with policy
- Review key learning points from cases/projects both for the business and HR. Share learning to support changes, improvements or learning activities
- Ensure the management of end to end processes in line with customer needs whilst maintaining legal and compliance requirements
- Carry out risk analysis as appropriate
**Requirements**:
- Ability to work collaboratively

- The courage to challenge or influence to allow the right decisions to be made
- Generalist HR advisory experience across a range of HR activities/processes with specialism in one or more HR process areas
- Diagnostic and analytical skills with the ability to listen actively, ask probing questions and analyse requirements
- Ability to identify and address or escalate risk
- Persuasion and influencing skills
- Outstanding customer focus and the ability to manage customer requirements through a partnership approach
