**About the Trust**

Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is one of only three dedicated children’s hospital trusts in the UK and provides integrated healthcare for children and young people, including community and mental health care as well as acute and specialist services. **What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Maintain the NICE section of the Clinical Effectiveness System. A monitoring tool for recording progress and current position with Clinical Effectiveness and NICE guidance information. Ensure that all guidance is monitored and that an internal tracking system is in place and maintained.
- Facilitate and foster a collaborative approach to implement NICE guidance and quality standards in relation to other development work within the Divisions.
- Encourage healthcare professionals to adopt a proactive approach in preparing for the forthcoming guidance, working with them to assess current clinical practice and consider the potential financial implications and planning required to ensure successful local implementation.
- Pro-actively support colleagues to review guidance and evidence from a number of different sources using a variety of library services, computer databases and web-based resources, as well as collecting and collating guidance which is sent to the Trust from external sources e.g. National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE), Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above

- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

- Previous experience in a similar role.
