**ROLE OVERVIEW**

Director of Sales and Marketing plays a hugely integral part of the senior team to influence and contribute to the resorts strategy and translating it into tangible and measurable outcomes.

The role holder must have a passion for innovative thinking and ways of working. Continuously seeking out opportunities stay ahead of the pack and constantly pushing boundaries to stay current and thinking outside the traditional Sales and Marketing methods.

The role holder will be responsible for the execution of the Sales and Marketing Strategy and plan by being accountable for the lead generating activity and lead conversion activity which determines admissions income of the Lost Shore Surf Resort. Establishing and leading 3rd party relationships and being the main point of contact for our S&M Systems Providers and external Marketing support.

The Director of Sales and Marketing role is a Senior role within Lost Shore Surf Resort and involves representing the Resort at Operational Board meetings, along with other key Stakeholder Groups

**SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE**:

- Highly experienced, driven and motivated individual with a proven track record of providing the Sales & Marketing team with strong leadership and technical guidance
- Able to bring strategies to realities, through multi disciplinary Sales & Marketing teams
- An ability to work under pressure, with a drive and determination to achieve the best
- Really great people skills, with an ability to motivate, lead by example and inspire others
- A strong sense of fun, with an affinity for our main products and experiences
- An inspiring, driven and engaging leader and role model who is passionate about hospitality and leisure.

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**
- Competitive salary and benefits package (you will have the opportunity to learn to surf)
- This role will be based at our new site resort location; Craigpark Quarry, Ratho, Edinburgh, EH28 8RH due to open in September. Until then the role holder will work between Site (Ratho), our North Berwick office and will also enjoy the opportunity to work from home
- Work as part of a fast paced and dynamic team
- This is a full time role however we are open to considering reduced hours and flexible working patterns
