The Centre for Climate Repair (CCR) is a multi-disciplinary centre hosted in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP) and operates under the umbrella of Cambridge Zero.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join CCR as Programme Coordinator. The CCR is located within the Department of Applied Maths and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP) on Wilberforce Road.

The Programme Administrator will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the administration of projects, preparing project outlines and plans, monitoring and reporting on projects, supporting project related activities and events (conferences, workshops, training events), carrying out financial administration, providing administrative support to the Director and CCR committees, carrying out HR/payroll related administration and maintaining appropriate communication channels with colleagues, representatives and stake holders within and outside the University.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced administrator with knowledge of project coordination. You will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

You will be experienced at building positive working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external colleagues. You will be well organised, and have a flexible approach to work, with an ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities along with excellent computer skills are also essential. You will have some experience in supporting event coordination.

A scientific background is not required for this role, but an interest in supporting research in this area would be beneficial.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
