HR & Od Officer

**Your Duties**:
- Supervise and coordinate the designated service area within the HR & OD unit, ensuring high-quality service delivery and interchangeability at the HR & OD Officer level.
- Manage and oversee administrative requirements of the HR & OD Unit, maintaining best practice standards for internal and external customers.
- Offer advice on specific OD interventions such as organisation restructures, change management, and performance management.
- Provide professional guidance and support to Council departments and units on operational HR & OD issues and participate as a representative in relevant Council processes or meetings.
- Prepare reports and statistical returns for relevant Council Departments, Committees, and external bodies as directed.
- Ensure compliance with Council policies and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of management and personal behaviour reflective of the organisation's core values.
- Promote equality of opportunity and access in service delivery and employment of staff through the integration of equality within the Council.
- Assume various HR Generalist responsibilities at the operational level.
- Provide advice on relevant employment legislation and conditions of service.
**Your Profile**:
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- A third level qualification (HNC, HND, NVQ Level 4, Degree) or equivalent.
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD).
- Minimum of three years of management experience encompassing successful OD projects, influencing change, relationship-building, training/learning & development, and providing HR guidance to managers.
**Knowledge & Skills**:
- Proficiency in computerised Human Resource Information Systems.
