Job Summary

Moog Aircraft Group is looking for an HR Administrator to join the team in Tewkesbury. Within this role you’ll be providing HR administrative support and service to the Company and the HR function/Shared Services as well as being the first point of contact for employee and manager queries. In addition, this role will be supporting continuous improvements/process improvements projects and implementation of HR initiatives and systems and also managing the absence data reporting and Occupational Health provision liaising closely with the HRM/HRBP, EH&S, managers and employees in managing short
- and long-term absence, reasonable adjustments and in line with relevant policies.

Key responsibilities
- Administer HR related documentation and processes such as internal offer letters, variation to contracts, transfer and leaver documentation, learning agreements and other events of the employee life-cycle
- Develop and maintain accurate data records for employee life-cycle events such as starters, leavers and transfers
- Act as a super-user on all HR Systems to include resolving employee queries, supporting self-service and supporting the wider HR function
- Responsible for all employee background screening and associated compliance requirements e.g. known consignor compliance and process and DBS checking
- Deliver HR induction for all new employees and develop the Induction content based on employee and manager feedback
- Providing first stage HR advice and support to line managers and employees on the Company procedures and policies.
- Provide administrative support to the HRM/HRBP and wider UK HR Shared Services team as required
- Provide supervisors and managers with advice on proactive short-term absence management, to include a narrative alongside monthly reports and appropriate escalation to HRM or HRBP of long-term absence cases
- Support the HRM/HRBP and UK Shared Services Team with HR projects and initiatives e.g. in response to employment law changes.

Key skills and experience
- CIPD qualified or working towards Level 3 in HR Practice would be beneficial.
- Previous experience of working in a HR environment is essential.
- Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office software packages essential.
- The flexibility and willingness to learn and the desire to drive a career in HR.
- Good knowledge of employment law and continually keeping up to date with EL changes.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing/customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
