Preston, United Kingdom Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Welcome to a role where you get to shape the learning journey for Year 4 Specialty Rotation B in the Neurology and Ageing and Complex Health sections of the Manchester MBChB program Get ready to dive into the exciting world of planning, implementing, and jazzing up work-based teaching and assessment programs.

You won't be doing this solo - you'll be teaming up with the phase 2 LTHTR undergraduate medical education crew and the clinical placement maestros to create a dynamic learning experience. And here's the fun part - you'll be right in the mix, guiding and supporting the next generation of doctors during the module.

Consider yourself the detective of clinical practice environments, on a mission to uncover areas of excellence and shout-outs to those who nail it. If there are spots that need a little extra TLC to meet the gold standard, you'll be the superhero reporting your findings to the phase 2 manager.

This is your chance to make a real impact on medical education. Ready to bring your passion and expertise to the forefront? Let's make learning memorable

Get ready to take the reins on crafting, implementing, and fine-tuning work-based teaching and assessment programs that bring the Neurology and Ageing and Complex Health components of the Year 4 Speciality B module to life in the Manchester MBChB program. It's all about creating an immersive learning experience that leaves a lasting impact.

But wait, there's more You'll also be a key player in the training and assessment game, lending your expertise to Nursing, Allied Healthcare professionals, and Postgraduate medical staff when they need that extra guidance.

Now, imagine an annual appraisal that's not just a formality, but a chance for you to showcase your growth. You'll be the architect of your own Professional Development Plan (PDP), ensuring it aligns with your aspirations. And hey, the annual review process? You're not just a spectator; you're in the spotlight, discussing your achievements and setting the stage for what's next.

Flexibility is your forte. Managing your workload independently is the name of the game, but fear not, your manager is your partner in crime - ready to step in when the need arises.

We have 10000 fantastic people working hard to deliver quality services to our patients. Whatever your role, you help look after 370,000 people in our local area & give specialist care to 1.5 million people across Lancashire & Cumbria.

Working with us gives you the knowledge and sense of pride that every activity you do genuinely does make a difference to support our patients & staff, ensuring we keep thriving & delivering outstanding healthcare right across our local towns.

You’ll have access to varied development opportunities, learn new skills, meet fab people & do things you’d never have done.

You’ll make an impact, be challenged to think differently, be bold & help innovate to keep improving things. Everything we do centres around patient care and enhancing their experience which means your role is pivotal and something really to be proud of.
