Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Veterinary Clinical Coaching and Mentoring Lead to join our team at the University of Central Lancashire. As a key member of our School of Veterinary Medicine, you will be responsible for leading the Coaching and Mentoring Team, providing unique support for students, staff, and in-practice educators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Coaching and Mentoring Team to provide coaching and support activities for students around Professional Development, Academic Development, and Clinical Practice.
  • Work alongside the School Placements Lead to ensure that all students receive coaching support and visits during their veterinary placements.
  • Provide staff coaching and facilitate feedback and development sessions to drive staff engagement and optimize the School's performance.
  • Implement a coaching/mentoring programme in an organizational setting, utilizing your extensive experience and ILM Level 5 Coaching & Mentoring Qualification.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in coaching and mentoring, with a proven track record of implementing coaching/mentoring programmes.
  • ILM Level 5 Coaching & Mentoring Qualification or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and external partners.
