Veterinary Anatomy Instructor

Job Summary:

The University of Central Lancashire is seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Anatomy Instructor to join our Technical Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the coordination and running of laboratory, anatomy, and clinical skills facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the technical lead in ensuring effective and efficient use of resources in designated areas.
• Provide guidance and advice to staff and students on the use of equipment related to veterinary science.
• Liaise with academic and service staff to monitor and develop the service in line with academic requirements and University objectives.
• Undertake general equipment maintenance and safety checks, equipment inventory checks and updates.
• Provide advice and support as required.

Requirements:

• Degree in a Veterinary Science subject area or equivalent experiential learning in an anatomy setting.
• IT literacy and working knowledge of veterinary anatomy and equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry clinical/veterinary equipment.
• Flexible approach to weekly working patterns due to student timetable.
