At Ar Curam Ltd, we provide care, support and accommodation for children and young people aged between 8-17 years old in small residential care homes where we aim to achieve excellent outcomes for the children and young people in our care.

At the moment, all Residential services are in the North East of England, however this role will be required to be based at the office in Hillington working alongside the Managing Director and Head of HR.

In line with our expansion, and expansion plans, we are currently looking someone to join the team supporting with HR, Recruitment and Training Administration and in addition undertake administration tasks related to facilities, maintenance and fleet. In the role you will also undertake general office duties and may get involved in aspects of GDPR and Health and Safety, with the role developing in line with the needs of the business as we expand.

Knowledge and experience of dealing with data in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA) and Freedom of Information Act is highly desirable as is experience of working with the Myrus (or another) training system.

The key roles and responsibilities will include;
- Ensuring accurate and update to date central records to include, fleet, inventory, Insurances, legal documents, fire safety and health and safety records etc.
- Ensure actions required to ensure compliance are raised to the relevant management as appropriate for example MOT’s due, insurance renewals, compliance requirements etc.
- Support the delivery of training/learning and development by collating packs and paperwork as required. Maintenance of the Myrus training system, ensuring mandatory training, and refreshers have are up to date.
- Support Human Resources with Safer Recruitment to include but not limited to arranging interviews, sending and chasing reference requests, proof to work checks and compliance, DBS and updates, ensuring all documentation gathered as part of the recruitment process and associated records are of expected internal and external standards.
- Support with other HR related tasks as required.
- Support with GDPR compliance and processes in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and Freedom of Information Act.
- Implementation and maintenance of efficient online filing systems.
- Supporting in Ofsted inspection process as required.
- Support with tender process where required.
