**Business Administrator '“ 30 hours | Spire Norwich Hospital | £22,854 per annum FTE + Benefits | flexible 4 or 5 days | Permanent**

Spire Norwich hospital is currently recruiting for a Business Administrator to join our friendly Administration team. This position is 30 hours per week, working Monday '“ Friday between 09.00 '“ 17.00. We have a flexible approach to this position and can offer 30 hours across 4 or 5 days per week.

This an excellent opportunity and a great role for someone that can thrive in a busy environment and enjoys speaking to people.

You will perform cashiering, banking and petty cash duties. Recording of all invoices, billings, deposits, payments and receipts and posting of entries onto SAP including GP service payments. Process supplier invoices to ensure timely payment and deal with supplier queries. Charging and posting of all miscellaneous items and invoices daily. Ensure patient charging for consumables and operation codes are entered onto SAP for the relevant departments in relation to patient accounts for billing and discharge. Maintain records and filing system.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Dealing with patient account enquires, ensuring that they are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Actively collecting and processing patient payments
- Understanding of the hospitals administration processes
- Ensuring salary grids are kept up to date
- Preparing consultant payments
- Ensuring that all accounts are billed in a timely manner
- Banking and reconciliation of monies received
- Processing ad-hoc invoices for payment

- Someone who is highly organised and accurate and works well to tight deadlines
- Must be a good communicator, excellent telephone manner, have good computer literacy with experience and knowledge of Excel, Word and customer data bases
