Technology Reporting Specialist - Salary between £40,000 - £50,000.

A bit about the job:
The Technology Reporting Specialist role sits at the heart of CIO. We want someone who is excited by the opportunity to shape the way we communicate and track our progress. You will help us connect with Amanda Blanc, the ExCo, our Leadership Team, people in CIO and across Aviva, through board packs and papers, reporting and materials to support performance conversations. We continually stretch ourselves, learning from and setting good practice across Aviva.

The team supports the CIO, making sure that our communications are of the highest quality and continually improving. The office focuses on three core areas:
- Operational Performance
- _ - _Reporting our progress and metrics- Administration and Oversight - Ensuring delivery of board packs- Culture - Engagement and performance

As CIO Office Specialist you will be required to:
- Support delivery of CIO packs, papers, and performance reporting.- Engage with the Leadership Team to gather information and metrics for use in our reporting.- Review and iterate CIO materials produced by other teams, focusing on quality and consistency.- Ensure our output is of a high standard, looking for opportunities to exceed expectations and outcomes.- Work as a key member of the CIO Office team to ensure joint and personal goals are delivered on time, to quality and in line with business strategic goals.

Aviva operates a “smart-working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office, and this role is based at,
_Norwich, Bristol, Perth, or York._

Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Good knowledge of core Office programmes (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with a desire to build excellent skills, define best practice and support others in produces great materials.- Experience of working independently to deliver outcomes and handling competing priorities.- High level of personal organisation and self-motivation as well as the desire to understand the technical context of queries and identify priorities for escalation.- Experience of working in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Great writing skills, an eye for detail and the desire to continue iterating until we are ready to submit.- Experience of working with senior stakeholders and producing compelling business writing is desirable.
