Financial Reporting Specialist

Location: Remote with occasional travel

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (Dependent on Experience) plus additional company perks

Keeler Recruitment is representing a prominent international firm seeking to appoint a Financial Reporting Specialist who will work closely with the Finance Director.

The ideal candidate will possess ACCA/CIMA part qualification or equivalent experience, with a strong foundation in financial analysis and standard costing methodologies. Familiarity with ERP systems is essential.

As a Financial Reporting Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting monthly reconciliations of balance sheets.
  • Reviewing and upholding standard costing metrics.
  • Generating monthly reports that compare standard costs to actual costs.
  • Providing monthly analyses of actual performance against budget forecasts.
  • Preparing weekly cash flow projections over a 13-week period.
  • Assisting in the budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Performing quarterly assessments of inventory reserves and compiling reports for senior management.
  • Reconciling fixed asset accounts.
  • Executing intercompany reconciliations.
  • Analyzing revenue and bookings by product line.
  • Producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts, complete with insightful commentary.
  • Collaborating with various departments and key stakeholders to review financial data and improve financial literacy.
  • Overseeing and conducting analytical reviews of financial data.
