Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled creative technologist to play a pivotal role in the establishment and operation of our new Creative Technology Lab. This innovative facility will be central to the university's mission, supporting a variety of technologies including creative coding, virtual and augmented reality, physical computing, projection mapping, lidar scanning, and soft robotics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver technical skills training.
  • Develop proficiency in physical computing, creative coding, and projection mapping.
  • Facilitate the use of relevant platforms, tools, and methodologies.

Lab Features: The lab will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology, enabling students to create unique forms of human-computer interaction and gain a comprehensive understanding of product development processes.

Collaboration: You will collaborate with students and academic staff across various programs, particularly within the Computer Arts & Technology discipline. Your expertise will be instrumental in integrating technical learning into our academic offerings.

Student Support: Utilizing your knowledge and experience, you will assist students in developing a diverse range of essential technical skills.

Research and Knowledge Exchange: In addition to teaching, you will engage in various research initiatives and knowledge exchange activities with both internal and external partners.
