**School Administrator Job Description**

We are looking for a **school administrator** to join our team and support the efficient running of our school. As a school administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support for the Head of Provision, Lead Teacher and Pastoral staff, managing the school facilities and compliance, and processing orders and invoices using the school online financial systems. You will also be the first point of contact for visitors, deliveries, and phone calls, and maintain positive relationships with parents, students, teachers, and other stakeholders.

To be successful as a school administrator, you should have excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. You should also have a good knowledge of administrative processes of schools, relevant laws and regulations, and educational programs. You should be committed to high-quality education and uphold the vision of the school.

**Responsibilities**:

- School Administration - Supporting the efficient running of the school base by providing administrative support for the Head of Provision, Lead Teacher and Pastoral staff including, review day and other letters, filing, shredding and data entry, answering routine telephone calls and face to face enquiries, being the first point of contact for visitors and deliveries, helping the base staff with general HR queries, printing and resources.
- Estates Compliance Support
- managing the administration of health and safety and building matters to include reporting repairs, arranging for routine compliance checks to be completed, programming new ID cards, point of contact for caretaker and contractors, management of online compliance logs, first aid stock, Compliance posters on site
- Financial/Purchasing administration - processing orders and invoices using the school online financial systems, managing goods receipts, liaising with the Trust finance team regarding payments.
- Coordinating all administrative processes and events or meetings.
- Handling scheduling, record-keeping and reporting.
- Ensuring the school complies with relevant laws and regulations.
- Developing and running educational programs as required.
- Hiring, training and advising staff as needed.
- Counseling students when needed.
- Resolving conflicts or other issues as they occur.
- Communicating with parents, regulatory bodies and the public as needed.
- Having a hand in the creation of the school curriculum as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a school administrator or similar role.
- Experience as an educator is a plus.
- Knowledge of administrative processes of schools.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of educational programs and curriculum development.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and online financial systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Commitment to high-quality education and the vision of the school.
