Operations Coordinator

As part of the continuing expansion Seajacks UK Limited currently require an Operations Coordinator based at our head office in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
We are seeking an energetic and motivated team player to assist with supporting our offshore vessel operations in both the renewable and oil/gas industries. Working within our operations team you will be responsible for assisting the operations manager, superintendent and engineers with the co-ordination of operations functions ensuring that the work required is completed to the highest standard and to the required safety and quality standards.
**The main duties you will be responsible for are**:
- Supporting the planning and execution of all on-going related vessel operational activities.
- Preparing purchase orders, vessel specifications, tender documentation and other operational documents.
- Supporting operations department with administration duties.
- Reviewing of safety and weekly management reports from the vessels and ensuring that appropriate action is taken to ensure the safety of all vessel personnel.
- Managing the vessels monthly meeting minutes collating information and assigning actions.
- Managing tender responsibilities and collating information from within the department.
- Liaising with vessel agents in planning movement activities
- Liaising with external clients during project phases
You should have a relevant qualification or experience within maritime operations, excellent numerical, IT and communication skills. The ability to work both within a team and individually and consider yourself a solutions finder. Experience within the shipping or offshore engineering industries would be an advantage but is not essential.
