**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Job Title**:Payroll Controller

**Location**:Belfast

**Salary**:Negotiable

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Control of the Payroll Administration and compliance for the Monthly and Weekly payrolls.
- Support on the process end to end payroll on weekly and monthly cycle for UK and ROI for Locum staff. (PAYE and Umbrellas).
- Responsible of the reconciliation of each payroll before Final Report Approvals (G2N / GL / Payment Summary and P32).
- Responsible of the FPS,EPS and communications with HMRC for the weekly and monthly payrolls and year end activities.
- Responsible for the control of third parties’ communication and payments.
- Responsibility of the administration of the pension auto-enrolment, opt-outs, schedule submissions and schedule payments.
- Check all relevant data for our standard Audit trail.
- Helping with payroll queries within the team, internally and externally.
- Support with the implementation and testing of new software within payroll as required.
- Assist with other work within the agency as required.
- Support on processing New Starters, Leavers, Holiday calculations, Statutory absences and payments, pension administration, attachments of earnings, internal transfers, invoices when needed.

**Experience**:

- Proven track record of end-to-end payroll process with excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Great communication skills both written and verbal.

**Essential Criteria**:

- CIPP Level 3 Qualification.
- Full understanding and knowledge of statutory legislation and compliance.
- 5 years experience in UK and ROI End to End Payroll process.

**Desirable Experience**:

- Sage Payroll 50 & Sage Account 50 experience or similar software.
- Have worked at a Recruitment Agency.
