**Job Description** Job purpose**:To assist and operate all systems and procedures in relation to payroll, time and attendance and pensions to support the Company’s Payroll requirement.
- Assist the Payroll Officer in all Payroll and Time and Attendance duties.
- Ensure that all employees including new starts are registered on the Time and Attendance System and that all aspects of attendance, eg, absence shifts, non-standard bookings are properly recorded, authorised as appropriate and coded for payroll purposes.
- To assist in ensuring that time and attendance and payroll systems and procedures are updated in line with changes to terms and conditions of employment and business needs.
- Preparing, calculating and updating the fortnightly and monthly payroll for all employees to the required deadline ensuring that control schedules and mechanisms are maintained at all times.
- Distribution of payroll reports and payslips as necessary.
- To assist in making the necessary returns to Government departments eg, HMRC, DHSS, including on-line returns.
- process / advise on all queries for payroll and time and attendance information and to produce any required reports to meet these needs.
- Update payroll records as appropriate
- Effectively use all Payroll related systems
- Assist with calculating overtime and other Company payments
- Processing paternity pay, maternity pay, SSP recording and reclaiming, CSA calculations and EFC vouchers etc

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years Admin experience.
- Payroll experience not essential as training will be provided.
- Good attention to detail
- Strong team player
