**£12.18 per hour + 12.07% holiday allowance**

**(W.e.f 1.4.24 the hourly rate will increase to £12.38 per hour)**

The Arts Section at Warwick District Council is comprised of Leamington Art Gallery & Museum, Royal Spa Centre and Leamington Town Hall. The service delivers a wide range of high quality arts activities with the aim of increasing participation in the arts and ensuring that opportunities for engagement are maximised for visitors and residents of the District.

We are looking for enthusiastic people with an interest in the arts and heritage to join our team of Casual Learning & Engagement Assistants. This is a varied role and would be a good first step for those interested in a career in art galleries and museums. Working closely with the Learning & Engagement Officer, you will assist with set up and delivery of arts workshops and formal learning sessions for schools and other groups.

Successful applicants will have an interest in making the arts and heritage exciting, educational, and entertaining for a wide range of audiences, and will be comfortable dealing with people from diverse backgrounds.

This is a casual role and work will be offered on an ad-hoc basis. Some evening and weekend work will be required.
