Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support

Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team at a partnered school in Warwick. As a HLTA, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the academic, social, and emotional development of a student with an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with the classroom teacher and SEN department to develop and implement personalized learning plans tailored to the student's specific needs.
  2. Provide one-on-one support to the student, delivering targeted interventions and differentiated instruction across various subjects.
  3. Assist in creating and adapting resources, materials, and activities to accommodate the student's learning requirements.
  4. Encourage independence and self-advocacy in the student, promoting their confidence and self-esteem.
  5. Work closely with the student's family and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
