Employee Relations Advisor

Shepherd Neame is looking for an Employee Relations Advisor to join our People Team.
Reporting into the People Director, the successful applicant will join our People Team, offering ER support and advice across our Brewery, Support Office and Pubs/Hotels. We are looking for someone who can support our People Leads on all matters relating to Employment Relations. The duties and responsibilities of the role include:
- Building strong relationships with People Leaders to provide advice and support on employee relation issues including absence management, performance management, disciplinary and grievances
- Advising and guiding managers with Employment Tribunals and Subject Access Requests
- Maintaining connection with Union reps and supporting negotiations as required
- Managing and monitoring Right To Work and Certificate of Sponsorship
- Supporting with the investigation of higher risk disciplinary matters, ensuring employment law and company policy are adhered to
- Supporting long-term business objectives through strategic support
- Undertaking HR projects in line with the HR Strategy
- Involvement in TUPE related matters, providing expert information and guidance to the business and all employees
- Ensuring compliance with employment law
- Updating policies and procedures
