Westside Pre-School has a vacancy for a:
Early Years Practitioner
This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Early Years Practitioner to be part of our team at Westside Pre-School, Faversham.
We are looking for someone experienced to help us continue to deliver an high-quality early year’s provision.
Level 3 in early years or equivalent is required along with a full enhanced DBS, references will also be requested.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a variety of learning experiences through play, art, music, and storytelling
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning community
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's development and any concerns or updates
**Requirements**:
- A genuine drive and passion for working with children
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment
- Proficiency in English language (additional language skills are a plus)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field is preferred)
