**Contract Type - Open Ended, Full-time, 35 Hours Per Week**
We are looking for a highly organised, professional, approachable and self-motivated individual to support the delivery of Undergraduate (UG) Programmes and teaching related projects within the Biomedical Teaching Organisation (BMTO) in the Deanery of Biomedical Sciences.
This post is advertised as full-time (35 hours per week) and we are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
**The Opportunity**:
Working closely with the BMTO Senior Management team and the Senior Administration team, the post holder will support or manage multiple projects related to learning and teaching activities and quality assurance and enhancement. The post will provide operational advice, administrative and managerial support to the delivery and development of UG programmes within the Deanery and will lead and supervise members of the UG administrative team. The post holder will have a working knowledge of the higher education sector and experience in teaching administration is desirable. The post holder will be self-motivated and be able to manage multiple competing demands and deadlines. An ability to use initiative, be proactive and adapt to change is essential.

- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with strong organisation and time management skills to plan and organise activities and events of some complexity
- Experience of working/responding independently and dealing with unforeseen problems; ability to analyse and solve problems with an appreciation of possible longer-term implications
- Ability to supervise, motivate and train/develop other staff
- Knowledge and understanding of university academic policies, regulations and codes of practice, plus appreciation of wider University and Higher Education issues
