GP Surgery is looking for a **Full Time** Medical Receptionist to join our team in St Johns Wood, Greater London.

**Job Summary**:

- **Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and potential patient. Welcome patients to the clinic, ensure a comfortable and friendly reception area, and maintain a professional and organised waiting room environment.
- Collect payments from patients using a credit card or cash
- Collect patient charts from physicians and prepare charts for faxing or downloading to hospitals or physician for review.
- Schedule new patient appointments and refer patients to the appropriate specialist if necessary.
- Maintain office supplies including paper and ink cartridges as well as keep a supply of coupons at the front desk.
- Check reports for accuracy before forwarding to physician or specialist.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to support the efficient workflow and overall operations of the clinic.
- Answer phones in a professional manner and relay messages between departments.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times by following HIPAA regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements: Knowledge of DGL

Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Certificate of completion from an accredited high school is preferred. Certification from an approved credentialing organization is acceptable but not required. CNA certification is preferred but not required. BLS CPR first aid certification is preferred but not required. Knowledge of basic medical terminology is preferred but not required. Knowledge of how to use medical terminology guide software is preferred but not required. Knowledge of how to use EMR systems is preferred but not required but not required (Microsoft Office Suite). Knowledge of how to use an EMR system is preferred but not required (Microsoft Office Suite).

**Salary**: £23,406.00-£24,141.00 per year

**Education**:
