**Transport Admin**
Our client, a leading company in the Newry Area are in search of a **Transport Administrator** to join their established team.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Acting as a customer liaison officer between the client and various external transport companies
- Sourcing prices from existing suppliers
- Scheduling transportation services
- Developing and implementing improved transportation administration policies and procedures
- Processing shipping documents, orders, and payments
- Managing budgets
- Liaising with managers and drivers and collaborating with other departments
- Planning routes and preparing schedules
- Handling customer queries and escalating serious complaints to management
- Complying to transportation regulations and company policies
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar industry
- Competent in transportation management or logistics software
- Minimum 3rd level education
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
