**Join the Meradowside and St Francis team as we seek to recruit an Activity Coordinator (and Reception)**

First impressions are everything You will need to be outgoing, confident and have a bubbly and cheerful personality and be able to communicate with residents of all ages and have a passion for making the lives of our residents as enjoyable as possible.

Under the guidance of the Lead Activities Coordinator and The Registered Manager, as “front-of-house” you will present a professional image through person-to-person and telephone interaction.

You will ensure the reception is neat, kept to a high standard, and will welcome all visitors to the home with a polite and friendly manner, ensuring they are assisted and directed where necessary.

**You will also undertake a wide range of other administrative tasks that ensure the smooth running of the home, such as, but not limited to**:

- To develop and plan programmes, outings and events, for residents and staffing the events and overseeing the implementation of activities.
- Work with the Activities Lead to ensure the activities programme reflects the wishes and preferences of the current population of the home and carry them out.
- To support and enable service users to access social networks and maintain personal interests in accordance with best practice, agreed standards, legislation and within the financial budget
- To maintain skills at a current level and to undertake such training and development as required

Please note: You will need to willing to complete a full and enhanced DBS check.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44 per hour
