We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and passionate activities co-ordinator for our family run residential home.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, organize, and implement a variety of activities and programs for residents, some of which are living with a dementia in a residential setting.
- Develop and maintain a monthly activities calendar that offers a diverse range of options for residents.
- Coordinate and facilitate group activities, such as games, crafts, exercise classes, and social events.
- Provide individualized attention and support to residents with dementia or other special needs.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being and engagement of residents.
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and feedback.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with the elderly in a care setting, particularly those with dementia or memory loss.
- Knowledge of person-centered care principles and the ability to adapt activities to meet individual needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff members.
- Strong organizational skills to plan and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
