**About the Role**:
Colchester Medical Practice, consisting of 5 Sites, is looking to appoint a clinical coder and QOF administrator to join our experienced and expanding coding/QOF team, on a full time basis for 37 hours per week, although job share will be considered, to be based at Castle Gardens Medical Centre.

Your main duties and areas of responsibility will be:

- Coding clinical documents accurately and within a 48 hour timescale.
- Forwarding clinical documents to clinicians following practice protocol.
- Carrying out clinical document follow-up actions, following practice protocol.
- Quality Outcomes Framework (QOF) - you will be responsible for allocating QOF clinical indicators, achieving targets for the practice.

The qualities we are looking for to fulfil this role include:

- Excellent attention to detail, ability to work to a high standard and at a fast pace.
- Ability to manage your own workload, but have the support of the coding/QOF team and line manager.
- A team player, flexible and able to cover when team members are on annual leave or sick.
