**About the Role**:
East Hill Surgery are recruiting an administrator to work 30-37 hours per week (open to job share).

The main duties of the role include:

- Work within the admin team who are responsible for the day to day administration of the practice.
- Manage data quality issues, providing advice and guidance to all practice staff in the use of the clinical system.
- Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
- Deal with all general enquiries, explain procedures as required.
- Be aware of national, local and practice quality standards for chronic disease management.
- Be aware of the importance of maintaining disease registers and assist in the validation process.
- Support clinicians in providing regular reports on the progress of these clinicians in achieving targets.
- When required, assist with validation of patient information, performing quality audits.
- Assist in the administration of the clinical system.
- Manage all patient registrations, deductions, amendments etc including notes etc from PCSE.
- Action PCSE requests for urgent records.
- Manage workflow manager.
- Manage the weekly, monthly recalls and all other recalls when required.
- Manage scanning, coding and filing of documents in a timely manner and to action follow up actions following the Practice Protocol.
- Assist with SAR’s and online access requests.
- Manage postnatal and baby discharge summaries.
- Building/importing reports adhoc.
- Explain practice arrangements and formal requirement to new patients and those seeking temporary cover and ensure procedures are completed.
- Receive and make telephone calls as required, divert calls and take messages, ensuring accuracy of detail and prompt appropriate delivery.
- Enter patient information onto the computer as required.
- Ensure records are kept in good repair with all necessary information on the outside cover clearly visible.
- Ensure that all new patients have the necessary paperwork completed promptly so that their registrations can then be put onto the computer promptly.
- Assist the other members of the admin team.
- Check the website back office function daily and manage accordingly.
- Assist with annual flu clinics and set up
- Assist with ordering supplies.
- Manage audits as required.
- Run searches as required, including QoF and IIF.
- Undertake any other additional duties appropriate to the post as requested by the partners, practice manager or the admin manager.

- The ability to manage own workload but will have the support of the line manager and administration team.
- A team player and flexible.
