The Growth Company (GC) Employment Team have three fantastic opportunities open for Work and Wellbeing Navigators. As a navigator, you will be based in community venues across Manchester and will be the first point of contact for Manchester residents for employment support. You will triage and provide advice on the most suitable employment support in Manchester.

We are looking for engaging individuals who enjoy working in a public-facing role and supporting Manchester residents to find the most appropriate employment support.

GC Employment helps to make a lasting difference to the lives of people throughout the North of England and beyond, by supporting individuals to gain meaningful employment. Our highly skilled advisers and key workers work with a range of individuals; from people who have found themselves recently out of work, to those with complex barriers such as physical disabilities, mental ill-health and debt.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- You ensure a quick understanding of the support needed, and any urgent action taken.
- Collate information accurately and effectively to judge the next best steps for the resident.
- Ensure clients receive advice from the most appropriate person or service in time for the problem to be resolved and for any deadlines to be observed.
- Provide clear communication to customers and/or their representatives.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping in line with contractual targets and outcomes.
- To signpost to additional GC provision as appropriate.
- Assist with the production of MI reports on an ad hoc basis.
- Supporting with cash management and payments when necessary.

**About You**:

- Must have good customer service skills, and good organisation skills.
- Ability to work to challenging targets and key performance indicators.
- An ability to gather and assess information quickly and accurately.
- High-quality interpersonal skills to deal with clients and a variety of stakeholders.

**Experience Required**:

- Must have customer service experience, i.e working on telephones or in a face-to-face setting.
- Experience of working in a busy, professional and demanding environment.
- Well-developed IT skills.
- Knowledge of the City of Manchester employability support and/or its community hubs would be beneficial.

Pay: From £26,000.00 per year
