Post Room Assistant

The main role of the Post Room Assistant is to support the Admin Office function across the firm and to support the Receptionists to ensure the telephone is answered professionally and in good time.
Duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Actioning incoming mail. Opening and sorting mail ready for it to be scanned onto the in-house system to be validated.
- Validating scanned documents to ensure that they are allocated to the correct client’s case/property transaction.
- Photocopying and scanning documents as and when required.
- Documenting Incoming Special and Recorded Deliveries.
- Identifying documents accurately.
- To action outgoing post promptly and efficiently to from PLS colleagues. This is to include Special and Recorded documents.
- To be able to order required stationary including envelopes/paper general stationary. Responsible for checking that all printers and faxes have paper in them, and toners are allocated to the required printing device.
- Stock control management.
- Filing paperwork and documents when necessary.
- Other ad hoc duties as required
- To support other teams as and when required with general housekeeping duties.
Essential Skills:
- Experience in an admin environment is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Skills in Microsoft office and excel.
- Highly organised.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills

**Salary**: Up to £17,000.00 per year
