**What you’ll do**

Your key accountabilities will include
- _Where appropriate take technical responsibility for a range/department as well as providing support to the Technology team across the Department acting on behalf of the Technologist to represent M&S externally and the Department internally_
- _Critical path - ensure all technical deadlines are met in line with BU critical path and continually working to optimise Leadtime whilst maintaining product technical standards_
- Risk assess new materials are appropriate for end use_ X_
- Assist the departmental technologist to manage adherence to product safety, compliance and ethical standards in line with legislation and corporate policy
- Monitor the voice of our customer around Quality and Fit and build into ongoing product development strategy

**Who you are**

Your skills and experience will include
- _Ability to interpret Departmental Strategy and provide insights based on technical knowledge_
- _Multi tasked orientated working to tight deadlines, understanding when to take decisions and when to seek guidance_
- _Knowledge and experience of creating product specifications_
- _Ability to manage departmental data and leverage M&S systems to enable strategic reporting _
- _Ability to embrace change and strive to embed new process and ways of working _
