**Data and Exams Coordinator**

This role is ideal for someone looking for a part time position, who is willing to work flexibly across the year. The position is equivalent to 15 hours per week over a 41-week year. Most weeks will be a regular 15 hour week, though some weeks will be less, with the hours accrued being used during the busier times of the year, such as GCSE and IB Exam seasons and for End of Year reporting, monitored by the Data Manager.

**Responsible to**: Data Manager

**Location**: Based at Skinners’ Kent Academy

**Salary**:SKAT Pay scale 5 (£22,595 - £23,693) - Pro-rata

**Working Pattern**:
Part time, on average 15 hours per week based on annualised pay. Term time plus an additional 3 weeks (41 weeks per year). Inclusive of inset days

**Key Relationships**:
Data Manager, Examination Leadership Teams in the Partnership, Head of Faculty, Heads of Subject, Heads of Lower and Upper School, Teaching and Associate Staff, Academy community including parents/carers, external agencies, local community and other schools.

**Job Purpose**
- To be responsible for ensuring all student (SKA) and pupil (SKPS) data is recorded accurately onto the Partnership MIS.
- To assist the Data Manager in providing a comprehensive service of data provision and reporting, across SKA and SKPS.
- To assist the Exams team in the administration of External and internal examinations, at SKA only.

**Key Responsibilities**
- To ensure all new student admissions have been recorded accurately onto the Academy MIS
- To ensure all data in student records are kept accurate and up to date throughout the year
- To upload and download student Common Transfer Files (CTFs) for new starters and leavers for SKA and SKPS
- To ensure both Academy MIS is set up for each

academic year, completing all steps relating to this process, to help with the ongoing upkeep of both Academy MIS
- To allocate all students to correct classes in the timetable (SKA)
- To produce daily, weekly and termly data summaries of student pastoral data, including attendance and behaviour (SKA and SKPS)
- To carry out the completion, reconciliation submission

of the Academy student consensus (3 per year), and to support with the School Workforce Census (1 per year). (SKA and SKPS)
- To support the Data Manager in collation of student progress data in order to produce reports and analysis (SKA and SKPS
- To support the Exams team in select tasks in relation to the administration of External and Internal examinations (SKA) Additional duties:

- Attend team meetings and staff meetings as required
- Maintain confidentiality inside and outside the workplace
- Develop positive relationships and communicate with Staff and other agencies/professionals
- Undertake any reasonable additional responsibilities requested by the Academy Leadership Team
