**Job Title**:Exams Invigilator
May, June, August, October and
November
**Salary**:£11.15 per hour
**Responsible to**:Exams Officer
**Main Purpose of Job**:Invigilators will assist the Examinations Officer and
Assistant Exams Officer in carrying out external exams
**Main Duties**:
1. To ensure the conduct of examinations takes place in accordance with JCQ regulations and exam board procedures
3. To play a key role in upholding the integrity of external exams
4. Have a key understanding of the rules and regulations regarding administering exams
5. Invigilators may be asked to take on specific roles, such as that of a Scribe, Reader or Prompter
6. Work with the exams/assistant exams officer to ensure the security of examination material before, during and after examinations
8. Invigilators must work with exams/assistant exams officer to prevent possible administrative failures

- Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required
- Assist with pupil needs as appropriate during the school day
