We have Customer Service opportunities available working for a transport company based in the centre of Carlisle. The role is to help guide passengers with transport replacements whilst engineering works take place. As the first or last point of contact on a customer's journey, you'll be assisting the customers with queries and offering assistance as when required.
You will be providing travel information to members of the general public to ensure they understand where to go during their journey, helping them in and around the station and providing excellent customer care
You will be involved in....
- Meeting and greeting our customers as they enter and leave our station
- Supporting customers needing assistance
- Ensuring the safety of the station environment
- Assisting passengers onto transport replacements
- Providing a friendly and personable service
Pay rate: £12ph
Shifts: Mon - Sat 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm, Sun 9am-5pm or 2pm-10pm
Contract: Start Mon 13 th March to Sun 19 th March and then weekends only through to June.
We are looking for focused and flexible people, able to balance safety and customer service at all times. It's a challenging but rewarding role offering a first step into our industry and potentially the start of a career path within our business.
You will need to:
- Have a professional, but fun approach to your work.
- Be passionate about providing amazing customer service.
- Love working as part of a team, but able to work independently too.
- Have first class interpersonal skills.
- Love the buzz of a busy environment, be able to keep your cool under pressure.
- Be safety conscious - able to spot and anticipate risk.
