Job Title: Office Administrator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Office Administrator to join our team. The Office Administrator will be responsible for handling various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of our office operations, we foresee this role developing into an operational management role within the next 12-18 months. There are a number of qualifications which can be achieved from Business Admin, Business Management and the company is willing to support individuals through areas of growth and development, including access to the apprenticeship framework.
The company provides services in the fire protection industry, including fire risk assessments, fire strategies, fire engineering consultancy and delivers Ofqual regulated fire protection qualifications.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Organise and schedule consultants meetings and appointments
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Perform data entry tasks using
skills
- Maintain a tidy and organised office environment
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
- Answer and direct phone calls with professional
- Assist in organising company events and special projects
**Skills**:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with Clerical duties in an office setting
- Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry tasks
- Ability to type efficiently
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working as part of a team, and has a passion for maintaining efficient office operations, the role will be based at our offices in Cowfold, West Sussex and hours can be flexible to suit the right person.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
