**Job Purpose**

Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, you will be responsible for the coordination and administration of a multi-site payroll function supporting sites across the UK. You will be a key player, proactive in your approach, helping to align and standardise payroll processes companywide.

**Key Accountabilities**

Take ownership and responsibility of your allocated sites.
- Responsible for the monthly payroll processing of your area including the timely submission of RTI and general monthly ad-hoc payroll duties
- Creating VC month end journals, allowing payroll manager to post them
- Liaise closely with HR to ensure all payroll adjustments are processed promptly and accurately, be the first point of contact for queries
- Manage monthly pension administration for Scottish Widows
- Create and issue all letters to leavers who have been overpaid
- Support the organisation by providing purposeful reporting
- Ensure all legal requirements and deadlines are met (i.e., PAYE & NI payments & documentation, P60's, Attachment of Earning payments, etc.)
- Make certain that the payroll function meets its obligation in relation to GDPR and actively look for ways to streamline processes to ensure efficiency of service
- Build strong relationships across all sites with key stakeholders
- Provide support for Agency costs and Period end Accruals

**HSE Responsibilities (Levels 1 & 2)**

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Payroll experience
- Good IT skills - especially Excel
- Knowledge of Cascade payroll helpful but not essential
- CIPP or equivalent
- Pensions Knowledge

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
