**Bookerkeeper/Administrative Assistant**
**3 days a week, 6 months contract with the possibility of the role going permanent**
In the Administrative Assistant role you will be responsible for supporting the sales team with their general administration including loading bookings to our mid-office, chasing confirmations, tailoring itineraries, chasing invoices etc. You will work closely with our accounts team to maintain tidy bookkeeping.

**The Duties**
- Manage and develop relationships with existing suppliers and commercial partners
- Assist the accounts team to maintain tidy bookkeeping
- Assist the sales team with their general administration - loading bookings, setting up third party payments, chasing balance payments, chasing folios, chasing confirmations and invoices etc
- Ensure that bookings are loaded to our mid-office promptly
- Take payments where necessary
- Request invoices from suppliers and check costs against the bookings before sending to Accounts to ensure they are paid on time
- Managing final balance payments to ensure they are received on time from the client
- Being exceptionally thorough and accurate in checking all documentation. Attention to detail is imperative
- Take responsibility for problem solving in a professional and diplomatic manner to maintain customer service levels
**Requirements**:
- Strong experience in a financial or other administrative role OR the travel industry OR a 2:1 and above undergraduate degree
- GDS experience is desired (Amadeus preferable)
- Exceptional customer service and rapport building
- Strong customer centric approach
- Excellent writing skills and command of English grammar
- Outstanding Attention to detail
- Numerate and data literate
- Organised, but able to be flexible to juggle priorities
- An excellent time manager and strong team player
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and to deadlines
**Job Types**: Part-time, Temp to perm
**Salary**: £11.50-£12.50 per hour
