A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Data Coordinator to join our team based in Shrewsbury. The main purpose of this role will be the sourcing, cleansing, development, upload and maintenance of Radar’s master database enabling optimisation of CRM marketing activity. This is a brand-new role for the business, so it is an excellent opportunity to make the role your own

Radar Communications is a full-service Marketing, Publishing and Events Agency focusing on specialist conference and exhibition events, industry awards and marketing campaigns for companies operating within the built environment sector (construction and building technologies). Working exclusively in this sector, our technical understanding and expertise translates into a dynamic set of services from brand communication and social media campaigns to website development and event/awards management and the publication of several industry-leading titles.

**The Role**:

- Manually sourcing new target customer data in line with briefs from team members.
- Sourcing, downloading and cleansing required data from Barbour ABI.
- Uploading new, cleansed data to company CRM system in a timely manner.
- Monitoring CRM data inputs (refining data collection processes and standards where required) to ensure records are accurate and comprehensive.
- Carrying out regular database cleansing.
- Maintain GDPR compliance.
- Extract information from the master database using filters/reports to assist other team functions - for example, a relevant publication circulation report.
- Research CRM best practice and to implement improvements.
- Understand the importance of good quality accurate data and proactively drive the speedy resolution of issues.
- Empower all staff to realise the full potential of the CRM systems and data driven processes, ensuring managers and staff are supported and guided through the adoption of new ways of working.
- Breakdown any apathy/misunderstanding towards data and CRM systems through the education and upskilling of all staff.
- Keeping up-to-date on industry news and announcements, to accurately update the CRM system with personnel changes or acquisitions/closures.
- An organised, analytical and decisive individual.
- Comfortable with using computer systems. Previous experience of CRM systems would be desirable.
- You will be able to work efficiently and effectively, whilst working with rapidly changing priorities.
- A good understanding of data quality and the importance of maintaining and updating data.
