**The role**

The Senior Buyer is an exciting and varied role, where you will lead and close tendering, negotiating, contracting and contract management activities on significant spend areas within their category.
- You will be working with Supply Chain and will lead the end to end procurement activity for a defined category.
- Managing effective supplier relationships, balancing security of supply, cost effectiveness, commitment, CUK reputation and access to market innovation.
- Conducting regular analysis of supplier spend and volume data, reducing overall supply chain costs or leveraging spends where scale allows, moving down the supply chain toward original product source.

Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK08 and is offered on a full time, permanent basis with at least two days based in our Southampton office.

- Knowledge of commercial purchasing systems and processes.
- Strong stakeholder management & negotiation skills.
- Experience in category management and development of sourcing strategies.
- A high level of experience in procurement within relevant categories.
