To support our accreditation journey, we are seeking a highly knowledgeable advisor to review and guide out accreditation journey. Position Summary: The primary responsibly for this role will be to preform a Gap Analysis, in line with the ISO/IEC 15189:2012 (Laboratory Testing) Management Standard. This will involve preforming an assessment audit consisting of:
1. Advice and guidance throughout

2. Assessing the current management system

3. Evaluating existing procedures

4. Confirming which clauses are applicable

5. Writing and delivery of the Gap Analysis Report

The role will involve being able to meticulously review and revise our SOPs and supporting documents to meet the stringent requirements set by UKAS. By leveraging your expertise in pathology lab procedures and regulatory standards, you will contribute to the successful completion of our accreditation portfolio, ensuring it meets the highest quality standards. Requirements:

- Knowledge and experience with the ISO/TC 176 - ISO 9000 guidelines.
- Relevant experience up to a Bachelor's level in a relevant scientific field, such as pathology, biomedical sciences, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in proofreading and reviewing technical documents, preferably within a pathology lab or a related healthcare setting.
- In-depth knowledge of pathology lab processes, including hormone level testing and biomarker analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills to identify and correct errors in grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely. Responsibilities:

- Create a gap analysis and assessment audit in line with ISO/UKAS deadlines.
- Conduct a comprehensive review of SOPs and supporting documents, including laboratory protocols, quality control procedures, and technical guidelines, to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with UKAS guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including lab personnel, quality assurance, and management, to gather necessary information and address any potential gaps in documentation.
- Provide expert advice and suggestions to enhance the clarity, completeness, and effectiveness of the documents, adhering to UKAS requirements and industry best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in pathology lab standards, regulatory requirements, and accreditation guidelines to ensure continuous improvement and compliance
