Quality Assurance Lead

Position Overview:

  • Oversee the local operations of the Laboratory, Inspection, and Quality Assurance departments.
  • Drive the ongoing enhancement initiatives.
  • Manage the Documentation Control framework.
  • Ensure the effective operation of the organization's Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Hold overall accountability for QMS implementations across multiple locations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee adherence to and the integrity of the quality management system.
  • Advance the Quality Assurance function and advocate for a comprehensive quality approach.
  • Contribute to operational efficiency and performance enhancement.
  • Oversee the customer feedback process and formulate corrective measures.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients.
  • Report on organizational performance relative to established objectives.
  • Administer the internal audit schedule.
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators for essential processes.
  • Promote a culture of ongoing improvement.
  • Maintain a system for knowledge management.
  • Ensure effective communication and documentation practices.
  • Implement procedures to meet customer specifications and industry regulations.
  • Plan and execute the calibration process for measurement instruments.
  • Support the training and development of laboratory operations.
  • Maintain a repository of client specifications and international standards.
  • Generate and uphold testing and factory certification documentation.
  • Establish and sustain compliance and submission processes for documentation.
  • Conduct audits of management and payment processes.
  • Fulfill job responsibilities in accordance with the Code of Conduct.
  • Support and exemplify Company Values and Behaviors.
  • Adhere to safety protocols relevant to the role.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure health and safety compliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a comparable position.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and related standards.
  • Self-driven and proactive individual.
  • Understanding of ISO, API, Health & Safety standards, and regulations.
  • Experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma principles.
  • Proficient in SAP.
  • Possess a good honors degree.
  • Ability to inspire and lead teams.
  • Strong communication and motivational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Lead auditor certification.
