More detail about the role To be responsible for the management of the Community Rehabilitation Therapy team that covers Ilfracombe, Braunton, Lynton and surrounding areas. This team is comprised of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Assistant Practitioners Clinical Support Workers and Coordinators. With Advanced Practitioners covering Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy already within the team this exciting leadership opportunity is available to either profession.
You will be required to provide leadership that supports both the performance and governance arrangements of the Community Rehabilitation Team. Responsibilities include caseload management, budget management, staff management/development and service evaluation and development. The Rehabilitation team is part of an integrated Health and Social Care team so the you will work closely with the Nursing and Social Care teams and link with the acute setting to ensure effective safe patient care and promote patient flow. Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, On-call and weekend working rotas are in addition to normal working hours.
