Carpentry Team

**Carpentry Team: DBS REQUIRED**

Ventro are looking for a Carpenter to complete work at our site in Ilfracombe, Devon. Preferably someone local to the area.
- Please note that all works complete will be based off a piece-rate, on a self-employed basis._

**CSCS Card, DBS checks and Carpentry qualifications essential.**

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Ease and adjusting fire doors
- Fitting fire door signage
- Routing fire seals
- Fire door removal and reinstalls
- Plasterboarding
- Appropriate use of all materials, tools and resources
- Ensure quality and standards of work are high
- Ensure health and safety regulations are met as well as best practice standards
- Undertaking any training necessary for the role
- Ensure all work is evidenced through our HILTI app

**Essential Requirements**:

- **Carpentry NVQ (or relevant qualification/experience)**:

- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- **Previous carpentry experience; specifically fire doors**:

- **Valid CSCS card**:

- **DBS Check**:

- Willingness to travel
- Access to smartphone in order to update the HILTI app
- Be Asbestos-Aware, and preferably first aid
- Provide own battery-powered tools
- The applicant’s company must hold Public Liability Insurance
- Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
- Have good full past work references / portfolio
