Kitchen Leadership Opportunity
Illume Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Chef Manager to lead a dynamic team in a B&I contract setting in North Devon. This is a fantastic chance for a motivated individual to take on a new challenge and develop their career in Contract Catering. As the key figure in the kitchen, you will oversee the preparation and presentation of meals for up to 100 covers a day.

Responsibilities will include managing a team of 3 staff members, ensuring consistent food quality, and developing the team's skills and knowledge. You will need to maintain high standards of food safety, adhering to Food Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations. Additionally, you will be financially accountable and responsible for managing costs and budget within the kitchen.

This position requires a Chef Manager with experience working at Head Chef or equivalent level, having a strong Craft background and excellent knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements. Strong communication and leadership skills are also essential for effective team management and problem-solving. We anticipate the salary range for this role to be approximately £38,000 per year.
